Gold Prices Surge in Pakistan, 24K Gold Hits Rs454,262 per Tola
Islamabad: Gold prices in Pakistan soared on Friday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs454,262 per tola, up Rs10,700 from the previous day, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10 grams reached Rs389,456 after an increase of Rs9,174. The price of 22-karat gold also rose to Rs357,014 per 10 grams, reflecting strong demand in the domestic market.

Globally, spot gold traded near $4,329 an ounce, up $53.4 or 1.25% from the previous session, supported by a weaker US dollar and rising investor demand for safe-haven assets.

- Gold (24K per tola): Rs454,262 (up Rs10,700)
- Gold (24K per 10g): Rs389,456 (up Rs9,174)
- Silver (24K per tola): Rs6,684 (up Rs232)
- Silver (24K per 10g): Rs5,730 (up Rs199)
Market analysts attribute the rise in domestic gold and silver prices to global spot price gains, a weaker dollar, and sustained demand from investors seeking safe assets amid economic uncertainty.
